All our nature camps and classes begin in our Hawthorne Hills Room classroom inside the Brig building at 6344 NE 74th St. The Brig is a large, one-story, beige stucco building, located just a few blocks from the community center. Enter through the double glass doors on either side, both of which lead into the central lobby. The Hawthorne Hills Room is just off the lobby. Look for our colorful Magnuson Nature Programs sign!

The Children’s Garden is also directly across NE 74th St. from the park’s main playground and W-6 parking lot. Use the crosswalk at the 4-way stop, take a few steps down the sidewalk, then look on your left for the giant mosaic eyes and tail of the Grey Whale Garden!
